The Patient Services Associate supports the practice by managing arrivals, scheduling, and insurance information within the CPUP division of Otorhinolaryngology.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma and 2+ years in medical offices or 4+ years in customer service; advanced degrees may substitute for experience.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required.
• 2+ years medical office experience or 4 years customer service experience required.
• Advanced degrees (Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's) may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Patient Service: manage patient arrivals/departures, answer calls, schedule appointments, collect/verify insurance information, and document in EMR.
• Financial: understand insurance requirements, handle charges and cash reconciliation, track receipts and end-of-day reconciliation.
• Regulatory: ensure compliance with federal/state/local standards and adapt to process changes.
