Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule internal and external referrals and appointments using Epic Cadence decision trees.
• Register patients during scheduling with demographics, insurance verification, MSPQ, scanning and documentation.
• Assist during pre-visit to preauthorize visits and prepare for patient appointments.
• High volume front desk check-in/out and phone reception following health system standards.
• Collect point-of-service payments (copay, coinsurance, deductibles) per EMR estimates.
• Assist patients with MyChart activation and online check-in.
• Support outpatient clinic rooming and self-check-in workflows.
• Schedule follow-up orders and ensure proper coverage until last patient is checked out.
