Rush University Medical Center in Ferguson, MO is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients, schedule appointments, and explain visit flow. You will coordinate with insurance companies and translation services, and handle co-pays and verifications to keep the center running smoothly.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, shifts between 7A and 7P. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour, with increases based on experience.

Formación

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year Front Desk experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
