RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey seeks a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join the Comprehensive Family Medicine team. You will welcome patients, check in/out, schedule visits, and coordinate with staff to ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. This is an hourly, full-time role with a day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and checking them in and out with professionalism.
• Preparing for visits by reviewing schedules and available information.
• Scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up visits.
• Answering questions in person and by phone with excellent service.
• Performing clerical tasks including copying, scanning, and mail distribution.
• Creating and organizing patient health records.
• Coordinating with insurance providers and handling pre-authorizations as needed.
