Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative at Old Bridge HUB to support patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and records management. This fast-paced, patient-focused role partners with physicians and staff to deliver efficient day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in medical front desk or related setting preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and checking in/out patients with professionalism.
• Scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up visits.
• Reviewing schedules and ensuring all information is available.
• Handling routine questions in person and by phone with great service.
• Maintaining patient health records and ensuring privacy and accuracy.
• Coordinating with insurance providers for pre-authorizations when needed.
