Job summary

BrightView Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and to create a warm, welcoming in-clinic experience. You will guide patients through the recovery journey and support administrative processes with accuracy.

You will schedule appointments, collect copays, maintain patient records, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth operations while upholding HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service-centric approach to work, take initiative to offer solutions to patient inquiries.
• Highly empathetic and compassionate to effectively support the recovery journey of BrightView's patients.
• Experience in front desk or patient-facing roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for patient inquiries, customer services, and assisting with problem solving any patient issues.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Collect point of service payments, including patient copays and other forms of patient financial responsibility.
• Communicate with various teams within the clinic and with central support regarding appointments and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate new and current patient accounts, including insurance and billing information.
