Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians, Inc. seeks a Patient Service Representative for New Albany Pediatrics.

This full-time, on-site role in New Albany, OH, features hours from 7:45am to 5pm Monday–Friday and involves patient check-in, data entry, insurance verification, copay collection, and scheduling follow-ups. You will collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a positive patient experience across in-person, telehealth, and phone encounters, while upholding HIPAA and delivering excellent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 1 year of administrative experience in a healthcare-related setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients have a positive experience during their visit, whether in-person, telehealth and/or over the phone.
• Communicate regularly with clinical staff to ensure patients and office needs are met. Collaborate with team to create a positive patient experience.
• Greet patients and complete established check-in procedures; data entry of patient information and insurance verification.
• Collect copays, deductibles and/or outstanding balances.
• Check-out patients and schedule follow-up appointments; communicate items at check-out.
• Answer calls and emails from patients and COPC departments; direct or elevate inquiries as needed; contact patients for reminders or scheduling.
• Complete clerical tasks (mail, filing, scanning, scheduling, data input, etc.); support office personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient data and HIPAA compliance.
