Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete check-in procedures, register and verify insurance.
• Collect copays, deductibles, and/or outstanding balances.
• Check-out patients and schedule follow-up appointments; communicate needed items at checkout.
• Answer phone calls and emails from patients and departments; direct or escalate as needed.
• Perform clerical tasks and support office personnel; manage documents and data entry.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient data.
• Utilize patient portal; potential rotation to front office duties.
