Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and identity at check-in.
• Schedule, reschedule, check in, and check out patients.
• Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries.
• Create, update, and maintain patient records in Epic and other EHR systems.
• Process referrals and manage assigned work queues for timely follow-up.
• Clerical duties: scanning, faxing, copying, filing, mail processing.
• Collect patient payments and reconcile cash drawer transactions.
• Operate and maintain front office equipment.
• Support clinic workflow initiatives and Epic system enhancements.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Adhere to HIPAA, confidentiality, infection prevention, and safety guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and required training.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure patient care.
