Cleveland Clinic’s Martin South Hospital seeks a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, collect information, verify insurance and schedule visits. You will assist with wayfinding and front-end operations across the Emergency Department and Outpatient Admitting.

The role emphasizes patient-first service, data accuracy and collaboration with clinicians while supporting daily workflow and care coordination.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED with two years of patient registration, scheduling, insurance processing or customer service experience.
• OR an Associate’s Degree with one year of related experience; OR a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Working knowledge of PC windows applications to input and retrieve data.
• Ability to perform basic math to process insurance co-pays.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors, collect registration information and assist with wayfinding.
• Register patients, prepare visits and perform telephone triage and scheduling.
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays; track patient records and appointments.
• Educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass enrollment.
• Support front-end technology and navigate multiple hospital locations efficiently.
• Communicate with interpreters and coordinate day workflow.
