Job summary

Root Center for Advanced Recovery is seeking a Part-Time Patient Service Representative to greet patients, check them in, and maintain a welcoming lobby environment. You will handle front-desk operations, verify patient information, and support billing and administrative tasks as needed, contributing to efficient clinic operations.

The role requires a high school graduate or equivalent, strong communication, and basic medical office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or a two-year business degree with one-year secretarial experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephone in a polite and timely manner and directing calls.
• Check-in desk duties: verify patient information and direct to staff; prepare lab slips and U/A processing.
• Administrative/Billing duties: collect fees, process payments, and handle records and correspondence.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports and maintain inventory in the lobby.
