Job summary

Patient First Maryland Medical Group, P.L.L.C. is seeking a friendly front desk/registration assistant at our Richmond center. You will assist patients at the kiosk, escort those needing emergency help, and handle requests from physicians and nurses with timeliness and courtesy.

You will verify demographics, health, insurance information, explain billing policies, and process payments. Strong communication and multitasking are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic typing skills.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent visual, verbal, written, and typed communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Willing to work at any center due to staffing issues or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Escorting patients to treatment area for registration and evaluation.
• Handling physician and nurse requests promptly.
• Communicating billing policies to patients as needed.
• Registering patients accurately with excellent customer service.
