Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. 6–18 months experience preferred at PSR I/II or 3 years preferred at PSR III; PSR IV for internal ladder.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, collect and verify demographics, check for referrals/pre-authorizations.
• Verify insurance coverage and document it in the system.
• Handle payments by collecting co-pays or outstanding balances.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments according to practice guidelines.
• Assist at checkout, schedule future visits, and arrange referrals.
• Respond to calls and messages; route and prepare documents for medical records and scanning in HIPAA-compliant manner.
