Responsibilities include check-in/check-out, handling referrals/authorizations, and delivering proactive, customer-focused service while collaborating with providers and leadership to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Handle Medical Record Number assignment, appointment scheduling, and payment collection.
• Verify demographics and insurance information; prepare end-of-day reporting.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and providers to gather information for registration.
• Assign Medical Record Number (MRN), schedule appointments, collect payments, and manage check-out processes.
• Respond to billing and payment inquiries and ensure accurate end-of-visit documentation.
• Schedule and confirm appointments in person or by phone, and enter insurance details.
• Initiate and validate referrals/authorizations.
• Provide proactive, solutions-focused customer service and involve leadership when needed.
