Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients have a positive experience during their visit, whether in-person, telehealth or over the phone.
• Greet patients and complete check-in procedures; register patients and verify insurance.
• Collect copays, deductibles and outstanding balances.
• Answer calls and emails from patients; schedule reminders and appointments.
• Perform clerical tasks: mail, filing, scanning, data entry, and general office support.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations.
