Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Patient Representative at Monmouth Medical Center. This on-site role supports the Patient Satisfaction department by handling inquiries, complaints, and compliments to ensure a positive patient experience.

The ideal candidate has an AA/AS degree with customer service experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. The position emphasizes clear communication and collaboration with staff to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.

Qualifications

• AA/AS Degree required.
• Previous work experience interfacing with public, customer service or related experience.
• Three years current healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries, complaints, suggestions and compliments received from customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Thoroughly researches issues and responds to the customer while adhering to hospital policies.
• Interprets patient rights and hospital directives for patients and families, coordinating with staff to improve satisfaction.
