Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare experience valued.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
• Proficient with EMR systems and patient data entry.
• Experience handling patient inquiries and scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in person, on the phone, and via electronic forms.
• Schedule appointments and manage no-shows and cancellations.
• Verify insurance and collect demographics prior to visits.
• Assist with billing information and patient financial discussions as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and route patient information to clinicians promptly.
