Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Service Recovery Coordinator to oversee the hospital's Service Recovery Program and act as a liaison between patients, families and the hospital to address information requests and resolve questions.

The role provides clerical and administrative support for the department, answers questions about hospital policies and patient rights, updates and generates reports, and collaborates with administration and clinical staff on performance improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to work under stress and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and guests to ensure requests are recorded, documented, and logged.
• Provides clerical and administrative support for the department.
• Answers questions and concerns about the hospital, its policies, and patient rights.
• Enters, updates and generates reports as needed; responds to information requests from other departments/agencies.
• May coordinate sensitivity and customer service training for the department.
• Collaborates with hospital administration and clinical staff on performance improvement efforts.
