Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support front desk operations, patient flow, and care-team coordination. You will help optimize schedules, confirm appointments, verify insurance, and maintain EMR accuracy to ensure a smooth patient experience.

You’ll work with clinicians and staff in a fast-paced, people-centered environment that values collaboration, continuous learning, and exceptional service. A high school diploma and strong organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and act as primary contact for interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, manage emails professionally.
• Schedule, confirm, and optimize provider appointments.
• Maintain EMR accuracy and patient demographics.
• Assist with insurance eligibility and patient financial responsibility.
• Prepare charts and documentation ahead of visits.
• Support patient retention through recalls and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth visits.
