Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center is seeking a Patient Service Representative in Issaquah to ensure a seamless patient experience. You will greet patients, verify information, schedule and verify appointments, and assist with billing and referrals in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2 years of medical office experience.
• Excellent customer/patient service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear, effective communication and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of computer and phone systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival.
• Verify and update patient information for correct billing.
• Schedule and verify appointments.
• Verify insurance and collect necessary information and copies for the EMR system.
• Manage referrals and obtain necessary records from referring providers.
• Scan, fax, and mail documents as needed.
• Occasional travel to Seattle area clinics.
• Other duties as requested.
