Job summary

Elk Ridge Community Health is seeking a front desk/clerical professional to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage the patient portal. You will schedule Telehealth and follow-up visits, answer calls, and ensure accurate data entry into the EHR system while maintaining compliance with Joint Commission standards.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 7–11 months of data processing/clerical experience, and a Level I fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 7–11 months in data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card: Level I card current or applied within seven working days after starting.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks-in patients, monitors portal, verifies demographics and insurance.
• Schedules Telehealth and internal appointments; responds to phone and messages.
• Maintains documents, scans paperwork daily, and enters data in EHR system.
