Job summary

Responsibilities include updating EHR data, coordinating with providers and staff, and managing patient financial interactions while ensuring HIPAA-compliant communications and timely portal updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Level I fingerprint clearance card required or applied within seven working days after starting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check-in; monitor the patient portal and verify demographics and insurance.
• Enter data into the EHR system and manage referrals or health records as needed.
• Schedule Telehealth and other appointments; answer phones and route messages to providers.
• Maintain updated patient contact and insurance information; explain benefits within HIPAA rules.
