Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients and caregivers.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver high-level satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in person, over the phone, or via secure messaging.
• Document calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments for visits, tests, referrals or consultations.
• Register patients by confirming and updating demographic data and insurance information.
• Assist with forms for regulatory and billing needs; educate patients on financial aspects.
• Proactively request and process payments following proper procedures.
• Stay current with role responsibilities via communications and updates.
