Job summary

Pueblo of Sandia Health Center is seeking a Health Center receptionist, patient registration specialist and scheduler to support patient experience and the Business Office. The role involves registering patients, scheduling general, dental and specialty clinic appointments, and ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information is captured.

You will also handle HIPAA compliance and EHR data entry. Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years in general

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
• Two (2) years’ experience in general office and/or records management in a dental office.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patients who are eligible for alternate resources during registration.
• Schedules all appointments for general, dental and specialty clinics and enters them into the registration system.
• Checks in and out patients, and schedules follow-up appointments as needed.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA and EHR policies.
