Job summary

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and customer-service oriented, with HS diploma or GED and knowledge of insurance verification. Healthcare office experience is preferred; travel not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient appointments with Center manager to minimize cancellations and support treatment adherence.
• Registers patient information with complete forms in the EMR.
• Verifies patient insurance and obtains required authorizations; explains benefits and responsibilities.
• Collects patient payments and copays at visits.
• Scans and maintains medical documents.
• Reconciles and posts charges daily and generates reports for clean claim processing.
• Responds to information requests from patients, other departments, or physicians.
