Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2+ years in customer support or hospitality.
• Strong customer service background and focus.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a physician practice or medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Prior patient collections experience in a medical setting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Check in patients, answer phones, and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk workflow.
• Collect balances from patients at the time of service.
• Perform other general front desk duties as necessary.
