Professional PT in the Northeast is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience.

This role supports scheduling, registration, insurance discussions, and balance collection, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, empathy, and accuracy in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service or admin role, preferably healthcare.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and welcome visitors.
• Answer phones and route calls.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Complete new patient registration and data entry.
• Discuss insurance benefits, authorization needs, and payment responsibilities.
• Collect patient balances (copay/deductible/coinsurance).
• Perform routine clinical administrative tasks.
