Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide outstanding patient service at our on-site store location, bridging the clinical services and retail teams to ensure a smooth patient flow and sales support.

You will greet patients, collect information, perform basic tests, support eyewear fittings, and help management deliver a seamless in-store experience while upholding the Stanton Optical values and commitment to affordable eye care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or currently enrolled.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving to address patients’ concerns.
• Collaborative spirit with respectful, cordial relationships.
• Results-driven with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs and facilitate sales.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, collect patient information, perform pre-tests and basic exams.
• Assist Management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards and housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with lens edging and assembly to expedite delivery.
• Monitor lab area and report equipment issues or order problems.
• Track delivery times to ensure on-time service.
• Other duties as assigned.
