Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ year in patient financial services or insurance billing.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in common office software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsibilities

• Register/check-in patients and collect required data.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-certifications.
• Collect patient liability and explain financial policies.
• Enter payments and reconcile daily charges; balance cash drawer.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
