Job summary

OrthoVirginia is seeking a Registration Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and to help ensure welcoming, organized visits across our network in Virginia.

You will schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect copays, and support patient communications while coordinating with providers and clinical teams to maintain smooth daily clinic operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare administration, medical office settings, or patient registration.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and patient billing processes.
• Experience using EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
• Schedule appointments, answer calls, and manage patient communications by phone, email, and fax.
• Register patients and maintain accurate demographic, insurance, and medical information.
• Verify insurance eligibility, obtain prior authorizations, and collect copays and payments.
• Coordinate with providers, clinical staff, and billing teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Support daily clinic operations through administrative tasks and office coordination.
