Geode Health in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Practice Assistant to join our on-site team. This role supports both administrative and clinical operations, ensuring a smooth patient experience from check-in to check-out and coordinating referrals and forms.

You will manage daily schedules, answer questions, collect payments, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and support providers and the front-office staff. A patient-centered, detail-oriented self-starter will thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
• Mental health or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
• Comfort answering the phone as a firm expectation.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for patients with excellent customer service.
• Manage daily schedules, appointment confirmations, cancellations, and waitlists.
• Coordinate patient intake, referrals, and required forms; support providers and office staff.
• Collect payments and document co-pays, coinsurance, and balances.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; assist during crisis situations.
