Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for our Patient Support Center. The role focuses on accurate prescription intake, insurance verification, and coordinating with physicians and pharmacies to ensure timely processing.

You will manage high volumes of calls, assist with prior authorizations, and help patients access financial assistance programs, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must have pharmacy technician licensure or registration.
• Call center or customer service experience preferred.
• General knowledge of pharmacy laws, practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terms/abbreviations and pharmacy calculations.
• Understanding of insurance and third‑party billing systems.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Confidential handling of PHI.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Complete prescription intake process including verification of insurance coverage.
• Assist physician offices through prior authorization and appeals process.
• Research financial assistance options for patients (copay cards, foundations, programs).
• Coordinate prescription processing and delivery with dispensing pharmacies.
• Manage high volume customer service calls and day‑to‑day operations.
• Build relationships with physicians, reps, pharmacies, patients, and team members.
• Ensure documentation of process flow from initiation to completion.
