Job summary

My Psychiatrist, LLC is seeking a Patient Care Liaison in Plantation, FL. You will support psychiatrists, therapists, and clinical teams across in-person and telehealth services, creating a welcoming patient experience and ensuring smooth scheduling and care coordination.

You’ll handle patient check-ins, verify demographics and insurance, and communicate with patients and providers using HIPAA-compliant channels. Growth opportunities exist within a physician-led behavioral health organization.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in healthcare, patient coordination, medical front desk operations, or a comparable patient-facing healthcare environment.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records and appointment scheduling systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable using HIPAA-compliant texting platforms, digital communication tools, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with warmth and confidence, creating a calm, organized front office environment.
• Coordinate appointments based on provider treatment plans and maintain accurate schedules.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, consent forms, and registrations.
• Communicate proactively with patients and providers using HIPAA-compliant channels.
• Support provider workflow by reducing administrative barriers and ensuring readiness for visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EHR and record scheduling activity.
