You will own patient experience, scheduling, continuity of care, and documentation, ensuring HIPAA compliance and a welcoming, organized front office.

The role emphasizes proactive communication, efficiency, and professional patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required and essential for communicating with patients.
• Two+ years of experience in healthcare, patient coordination, or a comparable patient-facing healthcare environment.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records and appointment scheduling systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and exceptional customer service.
• Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant texting platforms and digital tools.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support psychiatrists, therapists, and providers in both in-person and telehealth settings.
• Coordinate appointments based on treatment plans and provider schedules.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and registration details.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Health Records and scheduling systems.
• Ensure patients begin visits informed and supported, with proactive outreach for rescheduling when needed.
• Communicate with patients and teams in HIPAA-compliant channels and follow-up as required.
