Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital is seeking a full-time Outpatient Testing Center Navigator to uphold a guest-first culture and ensure smooth patient flow from arrival to departure. You will greet patients professionally, coordinate with families and staff, and support operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 2 years in registration or hospital operations, with bilingual abilities preferred. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years Registration or Hospital Operations experience.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods (75-80% of shift).
• Strong communication skills and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Comfort with computers and technology.

Responsibilities

• Creating an environment of service excellence through positive interactions with patients, their families, visitors, physicians, and hospital staff.
• Greets and directs patients entering the Outpatient Testing Center (OPTC) in a professional manner that follows the hospital's mission, vision and values.
• Directs patient flow between arrival, registration, treatment, and departure.
• Acts as liaison between patients, families, visitors, OPTC staff, and referring physician office staff.
