Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital is seeking a full-time Navigator for the Outpatient Testing Center to deliver a first-class patient experience. You will greet patients, direct them through registration, treatment and departure, and coordinate with OPTC staff to keep patient flow smooth.

In this role you will act as a liaison between patients, families and referring physicians, using strong communication and computer skills to support efficient operations and a welcoming, service‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years Registration or Hospital Operations experience.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and strong communication for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients entering the Outpatient Testing Center (OPTC) in a professional manner.
• Direct patient flow between arrival, registration, treatment, and departure.
• Acts as liaison between patients, their families, visitors, OPTC staff, and referring physician office staff.

Minimum of 2 years Registration or Hospital Operations experience. Bi-lingual preferred. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (approximately 75%-80% of shift). Must demonstrates strong communications skills and be committed to customer satisfaction. Ability to work well in team environment. Ability to adapt to changing environment.
