University of Missouri Health Care is seeking a Clerical Support Specialist on‑site in Missouri. The role focuses on patient check‑in/out, front desk assistance, and coordination with patients, families and staff to ensure a smooth visit.

You will handle calls, maintain reception areas, and support billing and medical record processes. The ideal candidate has 6 months of frontline customer service experience and strong guest relations.

Qualifications

• Six months of frontline customer service experience.
• Good guest relations and communication skills.
• Ability to manage patient check‑in/out and scheduling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients, families and staff to resolve problems during visits.
• Greet, escort, answer calls and direct communications to the appropriate area.
• Maintain waiting/reception areas and handle basic clerical tasks.
• Process patient demographics, insurance, pre‑certifications and referrals.
• Assist with billing documents and basic computer systems (IDX/GE, PCS, Cerner).
