The role focuses on coordinating schedules, communicating with patients and staff, and supporting care delivery while ensuring compliance with policies and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Manages schedules to optimize resources including providers, rooms and equipment.
• Coordinates care alternatives and clinic templates for patients affected by changes.
• Communicates with patients and staff to ensure adherence to the treatment plan.
• Assists Practice Manager with data collection and analysis related to physician productivity.
• Facilitates resolution of billing errors and denials, obtaining pre-certifications as needed.
• Registers patients and schedules appointments; provides patient education materials.
