Job summary

Zionsville Eyecare is seeking a Patient Relationship Coordinator to be the welcoming heartbeat of our practice. You will manage front desk duties, phone center coordination, and checkout processes, ensuring smooth patient flow and a positive visit from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or medical office setting is preferred, but we will develop the right ambitious candidate.
• Great verbal communication skills that can be felt and not just heard.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask across phones, computers, and in-person interactions.
• Proficiency with computers and a readiness to learn practice management and electronic health record (EHR) software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients warmly upon arrival and manage the reception area for a smooth check-in.
• Schedule appointments, answer patient inquiries, and navigate scheduling challenges with a positive mindset.
• Guide patients through checkout, process payments, and schedule follow-ups to build lasting patient relationships.
• Maintain accurate patient records, verify insurance benefits, and prepare patient charts with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, opticians, and administrative teammates to support patient care.
