Job summary

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston seeks a Supervisor to manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the main campus entrance, lobby, transport, cashier and the volunteer program. Under guidance of Senior Manager Operations, you will lead Patient Experience Navigators, Ambassadors, Escort Dispatchers and related staff to deliver courteous, efficient service to patients and visitors.

• Bachelor's degree required; two years in patient-facing healthcare preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and develop staff and volunteers.
• Experience coordinating across departments and with Public Safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Patient Experience Navigators, Ambassadors, Escort Dispatchers, Cashier and Transport.
• Recruit, onboard and train staff in areas reporting to this role.
• Recruit and manage Volunteer Services program.
• Ensure safety procedures and policies are followed by Ambassadors.
• Act as first point of contact for escalated visitor and patient inquiries.
