Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience and smooth office operations.

You will check in patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, handle phones, assist with billing, and support MyChart. A High School Diploma and 1–2 years in medical or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to create a positive patient experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
• Experience in a medical or physician office or customer service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
• Check patients in and verify registration and insurance information.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
• Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
• Assist with patient communications, paperwork, and MyChart support.
• Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.
• Partner with providers and clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
