Evolve Orthopedic Partners is seeking a personable Patient Service Representative to be the first face patients see. In this front desk role, you will greet patients, check them in, verify information, and set a positive tone for their visit.

You will handle appointments, collect co-pays, review benefits, and assist with medical records and billing processes, contributing to a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a customer service setting, preferably one year receptionist experience in a medical office.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Experience with an EMR/PM system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and answer phone.
• Check-in patients and verify appointment and billing information.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-pays and co-insurance.
• New patient intake and registration.
• Review paperwork for completeness and input demographics into the computer system.
• Review benefits with patients and explain missed appointment policy.
• Set up FOTO Intake Survey.
• Check-out patients and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Assist Clinical staff with follow-up FOTO status surveys.
• Assist Central Billing Office with Medical Records Requests.
• Monitor plans of care for certification.
