CityMD in New Jersey is seeking a Patient Service Representative to welcome patients and deliver exemplary service. You will register patients, coordinate intake, and ensure timely processing of documents and information.

Responsibilities include collecting insurance details, verifying eligibility, handling payments, and maintaining accurate records while communicating with patients and staff in a courteous, efficient manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume service environments preferred.
• Comfort with computers and basic data entry; attention to detail is essential.
• Willingness to work in a healthcare setting and help patients.
• Bilingual ability preferred depending on site location.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients warmly.
• Organize and coordinate patient intake and other appointments.
• Accurately enter and update patient information in the system.
• Assist patients with completing paperwork as needed.
• Scan, update and file medical records.
• Answer phone calls and patient questions promptly and politely.
• Process insurance information and verify eligibility; liaise with Billing as needed.
• Handle cash and co-payments accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager of waiting room times and patient inquiries.
