Job summary

The University of South Florida Tampa General Physicians is seeking a Front Desk Specialist to join the USFTGP UMSA RCO Front End team. You will support patient check-in/check-out, verify demographics, collect co-pays, and ensure all documentation is complete for smooth billing and patient flow.

You will use EPIC, coordinate with clinicians and staff, educate patients on financial policies, and help maintain a welcoming front office environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient registration, scheduling, and check-in/check-out workflows, including insurance, referrals, and authorization requirements.
• Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems, with the ability to document patient information accurately.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally and compassionately with patients, staff, and providers.
