Job summary

CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for our West Ocala Clinic. You will be the first contact for patients, handling front-desk duties, scheduling, and insurance verification to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Recent customer service experience required.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and build rapport in person and by phone.
Screen and answer calls; take messages and relay information as needed.
Verify insurance benefits and explain patient financial responsibilities (co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance).
Manage incoming referrals and prescriptions; communicate first-visit expectations.
Scan insurance and ID cards into patient files.
Collect co-pays/deductibles, provide receipts, balance daily collections, and submit charges.
Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming clinic space following CDC guidelines.
