Job summary

CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for our West Ocala Clinic. You will be the first contact for patients, handling front-desk duties, scheduling, and insurance verification to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Recent customer service experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and build rapport in person and by phone.
  • Screen and answer calls; take messages and relay information as needed.
  • Verify insurance benefits and explain patient financial responsibilities (co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance).
  • Manage incoming referrals and prescriptions; communicate first-visit expectations.
  • Scan insurance and ID cards into patient files.
  • Collect co-pays/deductibles, provide receipts, balance daily collections, and submit charges.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming clinic space following CDC guidelines.

As a Patient Services Coordinator at CORA Physical Therapy, you’ll be a vital part of our clinic support team by providing meaningful patient interactions and exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment; sanitize spaces according to CDC guidelines.
What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Recent customer service experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Reliable, honest, and adaptable in fast-paced team environments
  • Preferred: Experience in a healthcare office, familiarity with basic medical terminology, and fluency in Spanish.
