Job summary

Bay Area Hospital in Oregon is seeking an Education & Patient Experience Program Manager to develop, coordinate, and improve hospital-wide education and patient experience initiatives. The role collaborates with leadership, educators, Quality, compliance teams, IT, HR, and clinical departments to support staff development and regulatory readiness.

The position oversees HealthStream LMS, CPR/BLS certification, and competency programs, manages records and reports, and helps drive patient-centered

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Experience with hospital-wide education or competency programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates hospital-wide educational programs based on organizational needs, regulatory requirements, patient safety priorities, and identified competency gaps.
• Partners with department leaders to identify learning needs and develop department-specific education and competency programs.
• Coordinates new-hire, annual, and ongoing education requirements, educational calendars, and continuing education and professional development opportunities.
• Maintains education attendance, completion, and competency records; evaluates educational effectiveness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Serves as the primary HealthStream administrator and resource; builds, assigns, maintains, and monitors courses, curricula, learning plans, and compliance assignments.
