Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Nurse Residency & Competency Clinical Educator to develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate clinically focused education and professional development programs across the hospital.

You will lead HealthStream, nurse residency, clinical competency, and CPR/BLS education, collaborating with nursing leadership, HR, Quality, Infection Prevention, and interdisciplinary partners to promote evidence-based practice and patient safety.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse license in Oregon required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) preferred.
Current CPR/BLS Instructor certification highly preferred.

Responsabilités

Develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates clinical education and professional development programs across Bay Area Hospital.
Provides centralized leadership for HealthStream, nurse residency, clinical competency, and CPR/BLS education and certification programs.
Collaborates with nursing leadership, department managers, Human Resources, Quality, Infection Prevention, and interdisciplinary partners to support evidence-based practice, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous learning.
