Job summary

Ayr Wellness is seeking a Dispensary Technician in Ohio to deliver exceptional patient experiences, explain product benefits, and support daily dispensary operations. You will handle transactions, maintain records, and ensure compliance while upholding a patient-first approach.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in retail or customer service, cannabis experience is a plus, and must pass background checks. Scheduling may include varied shifts, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math, computer, and cash handling skills.
• Ability to coordinate and problem-solve in a professional manner.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Able to pass all background checks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Must communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and team members.
• Experience with cash handling and POS/inventory control systems.
• Prior experience in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and guidance to patients on cannabis products.
• Resolve patient questions or concerns promptly and report unresolved issues to management.
• Oversee patient intake and ensure proper records and confidentiality.
• Accurately receive, coordinate, and fulfill patient orders using POS and inventory systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized dispensary and assist in stocking and operations.
