Job summary

Oak Street Health is hiring a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive, welcoming environment at our Cincinnati area clinics. You will manage check-in, forms, co-pays, patient data in the EMR, and appointment scheduling while handling calls and messages with professional courtesy.

As part of the Service Team, you’ll support a high-touch patient experience, float to nearby centers as needed, and contribute to a positive, patient-centered work culture with strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by communities we serve.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms
• Collecting co-pays
• Updating patient information in the electronic medical record platform
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in the EMR
• Managing phone lines by answering, taking messages, and outbound calls
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform
• Maintaining cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas
• May float to other centers in the region occasionally
• Other duties as assigned
